notes | The Sparka is a lightly armored self-propelled, optically-guided anti-aircraft system. Used for close-in tactical defense, it's primarily a threat to helicopters and CAS aircraft. Due to it's no warning, hard-hitting, long-range attack, the Sparka should be a priority over the Shilka at ranges over 2nm. |
counter | Sparka is mobile, not detectable by EW or RWR, with heavy hitting 57 mm S-60 AA auto-cannons that will make quick work of inattentive tactical aircraft. You will detect them by their signature air burst. Their long-range and effective altitude can make them an unexpected threat. Engage from stand-off range with light anti-tank munitions. CAS aircraft, if engaged, should use evasive maneuvers and terrain masking. |
