notes | The Shilka is a lightly armored self-propelled, radar-guided anti-aircraft system. Used for close-in tactical defense, it's primarily a threat to CAS aircraft. |
counter | Shilka has limited range but ability to quickly track and engage up to 6500ft, quickly shredding an inattentive fast moving jet. It can be easily spotted by Targeting Pods and its high-volume tracer fire. Maintain 2NM+ range and engage with standoff munitions. At these very close ranges, ECM/chaff may theoretically work but your best defense is jink away and use terrain masking. |
